After 7600 miles, my 2000 savages's front break pads are completely gone. I went to a motorcycle shop 40 minutes away to get some new ones today and they won't fit! They are made by vesrah, and the box says it will fit LS650's all the way up to 99, but the guy at the shop said it would also fit the 2000. Well I went to put them on, and the metal backing is the same size, but the pads are so thick, i can't fit both of them in. On top of that I noticed today I have the infamous rubber seal oil leak. Man I'm pissed off. Anyway, am I just doing missing something? Can the pads be made to fit? Any help is appreiciated.
